about laurel & salt

A curated life by the coast

I couldn’t find it so I built it.

Laurel & Salt was created for women who want their homes to feel calm, warm and beautifully lived-in. Women who love timeless coastal style — not the themed, beachy kind, but the elevated, classic version that feels effortless and enduring.

For years I searched for a place that blended refined coastal design with everyday living. A place where warm neutrals, natural textures and classic silhouettes came together in a way that felt both elevated and attainable. A place that offered clarity in a world full of noise.

Founder, Laurel & Salt

I live on the coast of Rhode Island, fifteen minutes from some of the most quietly beautiful shoreline in New England. This place — its light, its architecture, its particular way of moving slowly and looking beautiful doing it — is the heartbeat of everything I create here.

I spent years searching for a coastal lifestyle destination that felt genuinely elevated without being pretentious. A place that celebrated the legacy beach cottage and the traditional colonial in the same breath. A place that understood that timeless style is not about trends — it is about intention.

Laurel & Salt exists for the woman who wants her home to feel like a quiet exhale — warm, considered and completely her own.

Our Values

01.

Intention

A beautiful home is not built in a day or from a single shopping trip. It is built slowly, thoughtfully, one considered piece at a time.

02.

Timelessness

Trends come and go. The things worth keeping — quality textiles, handmade ceramics, pieces with provenance — outlast every moment they were purchased in.

03.

Authenticity

The most beautiful coastal homes are not decorated. They are lived in. That distinction is everything.
